Comments
We are looking for timetable of the Overnight Express Noto in December 2011.
Thank you.
Hi Quang,
It is not released yet. Probably it will be coming on mid November. But it will be almost same as fall schedule.
Takeshi / JP Rail
SL Yamaguchigo in October will be very hard to book because of double C57+C56, I made booking for Oct 16 and JTB told me only 4 seats left! that was on 16 Sept! 🙂
Probably worth mention JR West’s Setouchi Marine View , because Kure is a very interesting city, not far from Hiroshima, Kure also got some world class museums , the train runs everyday.
Personally I found Kure line very scenic!
James
Hello James,
I have never taken Kure line. But I have heard it has a nice Setonaikai seaside and many broken islands view. When I was a child, we had the overnight train “Aki” between Shin-Osaka and Shimonoseki via Kure line. We did not have Twilight Express, Cassiopeia and Hokutosei at that time. But we had many overnight trains to Kyushu from Osaka or Tokyo…
I wish JR have an overnight train to Kyushu again!
