Since Takayama – Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass was released in 2014, this train pass has been very popular to travel Kanazawa, Takayama and Shirakawago. Shirakawago is known as UNESCO World heritage site and it is very very popular destination among oversea tourist in these days. You cannot access to this village by any train services.
