Hi Takeshi, when will the 2018 spring schedule get published? Thanks
Hi Hasan,
It will come in late January.

Hi Takeshi-San,
From Nagano to matsumoto , on what side one can enjoy the scenery of the valley when approaching obasute?
If I drop off at obasute, will there be lockers in the station, I couldn’t find the infor on net (is there a site one can check locker in stations? )
Obasute may not be a A-list destination, but i was fascinated by its view over the valley and the story behind my favourite jp movie”楢山節孝“
Cheers
Hi Joe san,
This station does not have any facilities. No lockers, no stores and there is no stores even surrounding areas.
Left side have better view when you travel to Matsumoto from Nagano.
Cheers,
Takeshi / JPRail.com
Thanks Takeshisan.
Hi Takeshi-San,
Is JR all pass covers iyonada monogatari in shikoku?
I heard it’s rated no.1 sightseeing train in japan and I don’t mind to pay supplement for the ride.
Can you tell me how do I reserve it even if it’s not covered by the pass?
Cheers
Hi Joe san,
It’s covered by JR pass but all seats are green seat. If you use ordinary pass, you need to add green seat fee which is 980 yen.
And also if you want to get a meal on board, you need to add meal ticket too. This is not covered by JR pass and price is varied by the route. You can book seat and/or meal ticket at Midori no Madoguchi. There is only Japanese site but I put the link for your info:

Woh, Thanks Takeshisan.
Hi Takeshi-San,

Thanks for your help
Cheers
Hi Joe san,
You can do it at Nagano but not Takasaki. Please see the link below:

Could you please tell me that is the bus stop close to the food court and the observation area? I found only Japanese site about the stop, also, will that be too rush if I only have 35mins there, it looks there is nice coastal view though.
Thanks for the help again Takeshi-San
Cheers
