E5 trains are currently being used for some other services like Nasuno. They have gran class seats but no extra service like the attendant and the meals.
There is probably some website in Japanese which lists these trains (not all Nasuno services are run by E5’s). But one way is to use hyperdia and see what classes of service are offered. If gran class is available then the train is an E5.

*If I would like to take “Glan Class” on Tohoku Shinkansen in April 2012 from Tokyo to ShinAomori by Japan Rail East Pass, how much I need to pay limited express surcharge and Glan Class seat fare? Could I reserved it while I still stay in my country via internet? How early I can reserved it in advance?

I got Granclass ticket finally 😀

My advice to all is that, look around, if Tokyo to SHin-Aomori is full, try Tokyo to Sendai, then Sendai to Shin Aomori on Green Car or something else!

Now…I really wish Resort Yamatori reservation can be made online too..
