As you know, 15th typhoon hit central and eastern part of Japan. Many trains were suspended and delay from the evening on September 21 to the morning on September 22. Now it is almost back to normal. But we still have some delay and suspension. Please see the following:
Express trains
Hokutosei – Suspended on Sep 23. Suspended on Sep 24 too. Route changed between Omiya and Aomori due to the damage on Tohoku line near Sendai. This train will be via Niigata and Akita. It is operated as normal now.
Cassiopeia – Route changed between Omiya and Aomori due to the damage on Tohoku line near Sendai. This train will be via Niigata and Akita. It is operated as normal now.
Hakutaka – Mostly suspended It has been lifted. Now it is operated as normal.
Hokuetsu – Mostly suspended It has been lifted. Now it is operated as normal.
Thunderbird – Some of this train suspended between Kanazawa and Toyama. It is no problem with Osaka and Kanazawa. It has been lifted. Now it is operated as normal.
Wide View Fujikawa – All trains suspended. It seems to take a long time to restore.
Local lines
Tohoku line – Some of the trains are suspended near Sendai. It is operated as normal now.
Koumi line – All trains suspended between Nobeyama and Koumi. Some of the trains suspended between Kobuchizawa and Nobeyama too. It is normal now.
Minobu line – All trains suspended between Kofu and Nishi Fujinomiya. JR Central started to operate between Kofu and Minobu, between Fuji and Nishifujinomiya. And also they will start to operate between Nishifujinomiya and Utsubuna by mid November. But Wide View Fujikawa is still suspended.
Hokuriku line – Many trains suspended between Kanazawa and Naoetsu
Oito line – Some trains suspended between Itoigawa and Minami Otari.
