All line of Tohoku Shinkansen will be restored soon. Of course the fastest train “Hayabusa” will be operated too. Now I show you the article about comparison Hayabusa and Hayate on Tohoku Shinkansen.
Hayabusa has Gran class that is upper class than Green class. When I wrote this post, I had not received enough images of Gran class and other class’ seat of E5 series that has Gran class. Now I showed you the image of all class’ seats on this post. And also you can see the images of all other Shinkansen trains on Tohoku Shinkansen here.
Before Hayabusa was introduced, Hayate is the fastest and highest train on Tohoku Shinkansen. So I show you some more links about the seat of both Hayabusa and Hayate. You can compare Hayabusa with Hayate easily.

Green class interior
Green seat has leg rest and power outlet. The seat pitch is 1160mm. It is same as Hayate. The seat width is 475mm. This is 5mm bigger than Hayate.

The movable head rest is equipped on this class seat. This is the first time on Shinaksen’s ordinary class seat. And the window side seat has a power outlet. If you want to use laptop or charging the batteries, take a window side. The seat pitch is 1040mm. This is 60 mm bigger than Hayate ordinary class

It is okay and comfortable still. E2 series that is used for Hayate is now new fleet. It has been more than 8 years since E2 series was introduced. That is the biggest reason the difference between Hayabusa’s E5 series and Hayate’s E2 series.
